History of Zionism, US support for Israel and AntiArab / Anti Islam Media Coverage. Dr Abdallah schleifer. Abdallah Schleifer, Distinguished Lecturer in Mass Communication and Director of the Adham Center for Television Journalism at AUC, is a veteran journalist who has covered the Middle East for American and Arab media for more than 20 years.

Schleifer served as NBC News radio correspondent and TV producer/reporter in the Middle East from 1970 to 1983. Initially based in Beirut, Schleifer was the NBC News Cairo bureau chief from 1974 to 1983. During that time he conducted or produced numerous television interviews with Arab and Islamic heads of state, including Egypt's President Mubarak, the late President Sadat, King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, the late King Hussein of Jordan, Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat, the late President Zia El Haq of Pakistan as well as with leading political, cultural and religious personalities throughout the region. He covered every major conflict in the region, all Arab and Islamic summits, the Indo-Pakistani War, the rise and fall of the Palestinian fedayeen, Egypt's post-war political and economic "Open Door" policies and the oil development boom in Arabia.

Schleifer left NBC News to join the AUC faculty in the fall of 1983 as an Honorary Senior Fulbright Fellow and as a full professor but with the title Distinguished Lecturer. He was described at the time of his AUC appointment by then NBC News President Reuven Frank as "the most competent Cairo bureau chief we ever had and clearly our most encyclopedic expert on the Middle East." Tom Pettit, NBC News Executive Vice President at that time, said: "Abdallah Schleifer has been a scholar in reporter's clothing, even though he's probably covered more wars, revolutions, hijackings, assassinations and general chaos in his region than anyone else I know."

When Schleifer joined AUC he was charged with the mission to establish a TV news-training center. The result-The Adham Center for Television Journalism-has been hailed by voices as diverse as Muhammed Jasim Al Ali, managing director of Al Jazeera satellite channel; Joe Foote, director of the Walter Cronkite Center for Journalism and Broadcasting at Arizona State University; Al Hayat newspaper; Peter Einstein, CEO of Showtime Arabia; Egypt Today; Sheikh Saleh Kamel, President of ART; Middle East Broadcast and Satellite, Digital Studio and other trade magazines, as the outstanding training center for television journalism in the Middle East.

Schleifer also serves as director of the Sony Gallery for Photography, which is part of the Adham Center, and as publisher and senior editor of the electronic journal TBS (Transnational Broadcasting Studies), which is produced biannually by the Adham Center and which has been acclaimed widely in both academic and industry circles.

theres no such thing as zionism there is no palestine only israel jews lived there even then muslims moved in its still rightfully their land secondly all religions are wrong they just spread hate and death wna know the true religion? research atheism just because you dont believe in god doesnt mean you dont get eternal pleasure in the afterlife humans are prone to violence when they dont agree especially brain washed muslims who dont even know about jewish studies and just hate without facts.

Zionism seeks to dominate all of Palestine and the Middle East by means of violence and the threat of violence (using weapons manufactured and purchased with billions of dollars of "aid" supplied by the United States at taxpayer expense) and to maximize its influence in world affairs and in world history, principally by means of control of the government of the USA,at the expense of the social wellbeing not only of the Palestinians but of the peoples of all lands.

Israel , defends itself, and it will ...There is no peace in the Middle East and there won't be till Islam will be dealt a world wide kick in behind it richly deserves..But that 30-40 years away. In the meantime , Israel grows , it has now 200 bln dollar economy, and it will grow further. Pallestinian Arabs will stay misrable and will try to make life for Israel such too. There won't be peace. So be it.

Americans committed Genocide against the Native Americans? I don't know about genocide, but a lot of Natives were killed and died of diseases. That is true. That is a human history when a strong one overruns somebody who is not better, but weaker. Tell me your ethnic background and I tell you when your people did their part in spreading pain and murder ..I doubt it that your history is clean to read morals here.

Zionism represents itself as a political movement concerned principally with the establishment of a state in Palestine to be controlled by and for Jews. It began in the late 19th Century and attained its stated objective with the creation in 1948 of the state of Israel by the United Nations (at the insistence of the United States and without the agreement of existing Middle Eastern states).
