Mo-Do - Gema tanzen -

Back

Producción italiana de los 90, camuflada de tal forma que parecia proceder de Alemania.
Todo un éxito del dance europeo.

A 90's production of Italian DJ's in a german disguise.
A great hit in the history of european dance.

I use 'Gema/Gehnma heut' auf Party?' (Gehen wir...?) as well as 'Gema/Gehma eben Milch holen!' (Gehe mal...!).

So while basically both works, in this particular context it is the first one (because he's asking a question and answers himself with: ja ja).

no!!
ETNU was right.!
"gema" is the short form for "geh mal"

No, it's no. Believe a native speaker. ;)

I'm from austria and so i can translate it.

"gema" is the short form for "gehen wir",
ge=Gehen "Go"
ma=wir "we"
tanzen=tanzen "dance"

so it means "Let's go dancing"

Gema = Gehen wir
Ge = Gehen
ma = wir/mir

I think this is what he says
ETNU (January 6, 2009 at 7:21 am)
Gema = Short form of "Gehe mal". Can roughly be translated as just "Go". Nearest translation would probably be "Go and Dance". He's speaking in imperative and doesn't include himself.
