I don't give a fuck what anybody says about any songs' meaning. Unless you're the artist it who wrote the song you won't know the true meanings, reasons and motivations behind the writing, besides it doesn't matter what the song is about. Music is about interpreptation and what you derive as meaning, a lot of music doesn't have meaning it just IS.

Marilyn Manson is wierder than David Bowie, in both good and bad ways, I like the point of most of his songs, too bad know one even knows that they exist. Then maybe people would never have blamed him for Columbine. =[

How is it about drug addiction? He wrote the song before apollo 11.. and do you really think at this time of his life he thought he was 'abusing'?

Yes its about drug use. its a metaphor about heroin use.When he says "hes floating around and cant do nothing" etc its about being high and doing nothing...feeling powerless.

At first in the song he feels good about getting high...in the end the drugs control him "i feel my spaceship knows which way to go"so im pretty sure its about heroin.

good job buddy listen unless the song writer himelf intented it to be about drugs and states that then thats the meaning otherwise stop trying to find other meanings
