Since the end of apartheid, thousands of white South Africans have been forced into poverty. They blame the government's positive discrimination policies, which favour black employees.

Twelve years ago, Afrikaners like Betsie Dreyer lived a privileged and cocooned life. Now, many are dependent on charity handouts. "We are fighting all the time to survive." The government is determined to see the workforce appropriately reflect the population. It gives black people priority in employment, sets 'black quotas' for businesses and favours companies owned by black people. But critics accuse the government of neglecting its responsibility to white citizens. As union rep Kallie Kriel states: "It's ironic that a government that fought racial laws is now doing exactly the same thing."

No, but they did there part ;). The Egyptian empire was not a white empire. They where probably arab of asian, not white! Then, te Lybian (black) farao's where not resposible for the fall of the Egyptian empire. Every man who studied the Egyptian empire knows that ;). Leopold II was also your king. He was white and killed alot of African people. So yes, it's important! So fuck you and your nazi-organisations.

We shaped the world? That is incorrect. The first great empires where Afrikan or eastern empires like the Egyptian empire, mesopotamian empire, the hittite empire etc...
It's not correct to say that we shaped the world ;). Domination? Ok, in some ways it's good, what about king leopold II? He killed 16mil. of Congolese people! What about the slavery? That wasn't good either... . The white people killed millions of black people... . Are you saying that slavery was a good thing?

Ik denk dat we deze zinloze discussie beter kunnen laten varen. Jij zegt A en ik zeg B. Geen van ons beiden zal van mening veranderen.

Armoede is erg, zowel voor blanken als zwarten. Voor de apartheid hadden alle blanken een goed leven terwijl de 'zwarte' bevolking werd onderdrukt, gediscrimineerd. Bovendien leefden ze in erbarmelijke omtandigheden. Nu echter leven ook verschillende blanken in armoede, wat erg is natuurlijk, maar wat moeten we dan zeggen van de zwarte bevolking?
