yea thats what i meant. they had to use melee weapens like daggers because of the shields.

I just learned recently that the R. Lee Ermey became a Gunnery Seargent after he had retired. He was made a Gunny in a special ceremony. I screwed up a few details, so look it up on Google. Sounds weird, but I read it in a book if I can recall. Ermey's still the man though.

The robbers were brought down later by themselves, and after being pinned under a car. But these days, S.W.A.T. Teams armed with high caliber assault weapons (not extremely high caliber, but they'll beat the hell out of 9MM Handguns) would be called immediately due to the severity of the situation. Also, if they had put out one marksman with a good hand and rifle, and posted him a couple hundred yards away, he could have easily taken both targets out. The robbery changed how SWAT teams work.
