This week's episode is about how some parents love their culture so much that even if it conflict with Islam, they will continue to practice it.

How can we complain about the situation of the Muslims if we love the parts of our culture that conflict with Islam more than we love Allah (swt)?

i am sorry to say that you are giving false statements about the religion of islam. it is not a religion of peace and love, but a religion of death and hate. In chapter 5:72 and 5:73 of the quran...these verses say " Infedels indeed are those who say " surley god is the christ, son of mary. So if people believe that jesus was born of a virgin, your an Infedel. Last verse that i want you to explain is chapter 9:5....that one says it all. but i pray for you because thats what god says to do.

The christ son of mary part we agree with. Him being god we don't. Islam is a way of life. In life, there are people who mess with you. A good father teaches his son how to defend himself. That's islam. A president will fight a country that attacks his, as will muslims fight those who opress them. That verse was talking about the quaraish tribe that was attempting to commit muslim genocide. You need to know which specific infidels a specific verse is describing.

Example, america's fighting terroism in iraq. Not every iraqi citizen. You need to know which verses were revealed at which time and in which circumstance regarding which specific issue with which specific goal. America supports israel but not because it sais in the bible to take the promised land for the jews. They have business and political reasons. You need to take a koran class from a muslim so that you can learn the message in the context and the people it was meant for. What do you think?

I myself am from Afghanistan and it is very hard differentiating my religion from my culture. That is why I have decided not to practice my culture at all, just Islam. Afghan culture(in my personal point of view) has added more things to Islam, which should not be there AT ALL. Islam is a COMPLETE religion. Nothing should be added nor subtracted. They've added AND subtracted many things which makes it very hard.
My fellow Afghans, plz dnt get offended.
