This is why I consider the VOICE to be the FIRST INSTRUMENT...not considered by all to be true.
Anyway, too bad both Hancock and McFerrin seem to come off as being elitist in the broad picture...just my opinion, don't sue me LOL

no one can easily sing as well as bobby mcferrin and no one can match his live tone or pitching wether a performer has to be virtuosic or not he certainly is

This is a great performance. If you think no one can sing like this gues again. GET BETTY CARTERS 'ROUND MIDNIGHT (ATCO). Simular to what you are hearing in this great McFERRIN performance but with words. BETTY CARTER was also refered to as BETTY BEBOP. She is most noted for using her voice as a instrument
