I agree, this DJ sounds like some jummped up school kid from a regional hospital radio, never have I heard someone so naive, childish and un-professional.

Some of you are kind missing the point
The host had watched the movie In The Shadow of the Moon and the interview was supposed to be about he experience of walking on the moon. The radio show regularly features UFO discussion/conspiracies etc and Edgar Mitchell threw the host because he couldn't believe what he was hearing from an astronaut! You should be pleased the guy asked the question about life on other planets in the first place otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation...

I think we've known the truth all along its just that alot of us are too afraid to confront it.
Actually I think the "superstitious" 3rd world countries would take in the facts just fine. Just look at the CRAZY, ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS lengths the western "scientists" and skeptics go to debunk the issue. Swamp gas, atmospheric ionization conditions?!! BULLSHIT! :P Sorry about the caps, its just that skeptics are a dumb but funny bunch of cowards.

2008 has been a big news year for this topic.
The Stevensville Texas UFO's were witnessed over a period of weeks by several hundred towns people. The U.K. released a large batch of UFO documents to be followed with more over the next 4 years. The Vatican made a statement to it's millions of followers that it's ok for them to believe not only in extraterestrial life, but intelligent extraterrestrial life. Nasa now ordered in court by a federal judge to release UFO documents. Case now pending.

I'm surprised by the amount of criticism towards the DJ coming from most of you. How would you respond if someone casually said to you aliens have been visiting Earth for years, and it's been covered up by the government? You'd think they were a nut. Mitchells whole story is "some people I knew once said aliens exist, and I believe them". That's it. Won't tell us who these people are, so there's no way of verifying his claims. When questioned, acts defensive about it. How is this news?
