Hidden Flow: The rising tide of European e-waste in West Afr

Back

This investigative film produced by CI's corporate watchdog partner DanWatch reveals how a staggering 500,000 used PCs arrive in Lagos every month - 75% of which go straight to landfill. This is just the tip of the 6.6 million tons of European e-waste dumped on the developing world every year, despite international bans.

Typical of the rich. You don't expect rich corporations to be responsible do you? Oh, don't worry they will get a small fine in the future and that will be added to purchase price. No one cares accept those that will explote this labor force in the near future. Taxpayers will be forced to train these folks for the rich corporations and media controllers and those that own the profits from this nasty business.

Corporations huh? They don't like the dirty works and even if they are forced to. Most will file helps from the government and are using the taxpayer's money to clean up and with all those money that they made. I wonder where are those money.
