Achilles was always better than Hector he was just pissed for half the real story because he didnt get some wench's in his tent, he let half the army die before Patroclus got wasted and he went out and killed Hector easy peasy, but Hector already laid out like... well all the important characters

If you mean the fact that Achiles was blessed by his mother at birth such that no weapon could pierce him (except for his heel), then it makes little difference because Achiles was the equal in a straight fight to Ajax of Telamon (but he was greater in battle because he was a much faster runner), who unlike this film battered Hector and then was not killed by him.

Erm... No...

If you mean his combat ability, strength, agility, speed... Then well that's pretty much what makes him him. Of course he gets most of that from zeus but I seem to remember that Hector is a descendant of Apollo? Anyway they both have some god blood in them.

well whatever, they were both great warriors, the greatest to live, well achilles was 1st but whatever, its a good movie :)
