I had a '49 pan, a '66, '75, and an '84 shovel. Say what you want, my '03 twincam Deuce is the ABSOLUTE most wonderful Harley they ever made!

harley lost all its soul when it brought in the EVO engine. knuckle, pan and shovel head were the good ones. EVO onwards are nice and low maintenance, but thats the reason to have a bike. to have something involved. to do the work your self.

AGREE !!! 100% !! i have a 1980 FXWG shovel and had for 20 years, will never sell it ! NEVER !!

the issue with the number plate being on the top of the fender instead of being on the side is a new international rule brought out by biker safety people for some problem not being able to read the numbers
