Wanna prevent this?

This requires 2 things:
1. Physical access to the machine (not strictly necessary thou)
2. The cracking technique Ophcrack uses is rainbow tables, pretty powerful if you ask me but not unpreventable

To prevent 1: make it physically secure
For 2: make your password longer than 16 characters, containing a couple of not directly printable ASCII characters. Then you say "Good Luck" to the person trying to brute-force it. Did you miss that I said brute-force, not rainbow-crack?

Yes Just Download, that and burn it onto a cd. Run it and, you can get into your Parents or whoever the administrator account belongs to's account.

Sometimes the Admin account is removed by security reasons... So then this will be much more handy
