I think her voice is perfect for Rose, she really seems insane.

Also, why would I trust anything you say? You want to see something as good as the last? See In The Heights.

I am not one who wants to perform. I don't even do any school plays, I am a techy! Really, I don't care about performing. Oh, two awards. Can that bet The Producers 12 tony awards? How about Hairspray with 8 tonys? Harvey can belt out this song with more glamour than that LuPone. She has the Worst acting EVER. In The Heights blew Patti right out of the theatre! Curtain down! Dim the lights! Two awards, ha! If I wanted to belt out crap 8 shows a week, I would be auditioning, and am I? Nope.

Are you being serious?

Listen love, this is one of the greatest broadway stars of all time, up there with Ethel Merman and Bernadette Peters! If not better, I suggest you keep you bitter, twisted comments to yourself you jealous little person. I would love to see you get up on that stage 8 shows a week and belt this out the way Patti does, because trust me, it's always as good as the last!

And by the way, 2 Tony Awards and most of Broadway would disagree with you!

I haven't heard Bernadette Peters sing this yet, so I can't really say she's bad.

She's good, you can't deny that, but Bernadette Peters will always be Rose to me.

Ethel who?

r u kidding me, this is Broadway right there, she's a legend, she rocks this song!

I wasn't fond of her at first but wanted to know what the hype is all about. So I went to see Gyspy on my last trip to NYC and at the end of act one I realized why. She might not have the sweetest voice on Broadway, but she's truly an all-around performer and a genuine triple-threat. What I loved most about her performance was her acting. She's a biatch throughout the show but you'll cry for her at the very end.

They're probably clapping cuz they don't have to listen 2 her anymore...(:
