This brings back memories. I was an extra in this scene. We filmed it at a college in East L.A. The only audience in the stadium are the ones holding up the "Go Forest Go" sign. I remember they then had us switch seats and filmed us so we filled the stadium. Tom Hanks was really nice. He would come out and kick footballs to the extras between takes. :)
