Anyone remember the original british version of this from early 1966 the band was called the living daylights and their version had a really unique sound with strings almost symphonic.Great british airplay on the pirate stations while grass roots were a smash in the states....

I saw The Grass Roots here in New Orleans back in 1982 at the Saenger Theater with The Association , Gary Puckett, The Turtles, and Spanky and Our Gang. I also ssw them in The Superdome with The Monkees in 1986, they were awesome.
