far as I know it can be either one. Sunshine is a name for acid but it dosen't come in a bag it comes in sugar cubes or blotter.

and i also think there is no real life counterpart for those 4 characters because the rappers always changed during the evolution of "Gorillaz"
maybe thers a counterpart for 2-D because i dont think there are two different ppl in the world haing this awesome voice ^^
