Gael Garcia Bernal may have pissed off PETA by killing a chicken in Babel, even though it wasn't a real bird.

Babel star Gael Garcia Bernal may piss off quite a few PETA members and vegetarians when they find out he's twirled a chicken around by its head and then snaps it off at a Mexican wedding scene in the film. Gael says he has no problem with the humane killing process used by Mexican farmers and promises that no chickens were harmed during the making of the movie.
