that depends..if u wanna get it rite from the beginning..play .Hack (infection, mutation, quarantine and outbreak (not sure of the order but thts the original 4) ..but if u wanna play 2 years after the original version of "The World" (in-game of course)..thn play G.U. ..idk wth the original is like..my freind is the only person i know with all 4..but he wnt let me borrown them... :-(

Well the original four games were a must have for .hack//sign fans, the trilogy would be for .hack//roots fans.

Correction Tri-Edge is the very first AIDA that grew hostile, and led all the other AIDA on the attack. Azure Flame Kite is the program/character/something incomplete/whatever that Aura created (but didn't finish) to hunt the AIDA.
