Christian left the Kora Reserve in 1973. He made his new territory along the Tana river, but when the Wakamba herdsmen kept bringing their livestock to his hunting ground, he moved on. George Adamson said in his autobiography, "I used to count the days on which we hadn't seen Christian, but when they reached 97, I gave up recording them in my diary." Because a lion can live from 12 to 15 years in the wild, Adamson believed that Christian ended his days in the Meru National Reserve only a few miles up river.

"Lion Man" Gareth Patterson, author, environmentalist, and the person who continued George Adamson's lion rehabilitation work, revisited Kora in 1998. This is what he found...



As for the two guys, the Born Free Foundation tells me that Anthony "Ace" Bourke (referred to as Ace "Berg" in a Daily Mail article) lives in Australia as a lecturer and expert in the area of Aboriginal Art, and John Rendall lives in the UK and is a Trustee of the George Adamson Wildlife Preservation Trust.

and who the fuck would take trained lions to the wild just to make a 10 minute documentary...why dont you open your mind to possibilities and if anything..its not about the video being true or fake. its meant to touch peoples hearts.

are you a lion expert? do you know everthing about lions? the male lions in a pride have the female lions hunt and what not, i dont see how its impossible for one female lion to not attack the humans. no shit this is not a disney cartoon so thank you captain obvious. it has been proven that they released the cub into the wild in kenya, and visited the area 2 times afterwards. i assure you that the area in kenya which they are at in this video is not New York Zoo.

Ok, female lions are not robots that do anything the male lion tells them! Even if he gets close to them doesent mean they do! They are still wild animals! And this is such a "cute" story that nobody wants to bealive it ever could be fake! And one more thing! Would everyone be as touched if the one who made the video would have used.. lets say?.. "Roots bloody roots" by Sepultura as a theme song?....No I think not! Over 75% would have totally ignored it just beacuse they didnt like the music!

the full grown male was injured and had to be put down after it attacked a human. Christian took his place. the female lions would allow the men to come near them because Christian was acting like they were part of his pride.

There is an interview from 2008 with both men who raised Christian, Christian was last seen in 1974. They don't know how long he lived, but Christian was raised well.
