the idea beyond the hippie movement was, and still is great. Unfortunately not all people who agreed completely understood it

Much as I love the song, I can't help but think, after watching the video that the only love these 'hippies' had was for themselves. Small wonder that so many aborted their children and are cheerleaders for the 'mercy' killing of their parents.

Diese ganzen Kettenbriefkommentare nerven >.> YouTube wird ja regelrecht mit ihnen überflutet.

I love this song even if I'm just 16. It reminds me always of my dream to move to San Francisco one day^^

I totally agree. According to Strauss and Howe the Millenial Generation (also called Generation Y, iGeneration, the Internet Generation, Generation M (Media), Nexters, and the Echo Boom Generation) spans from 1982-2000.
I don't want those of us who were born from 1990 to 1999 to be remembered as the generation who spent every moment they could staring at screens - computer screens, TV screens, cell phone screens, whatever.
People are right to call us boring. We just sit on our asses. '93!!!!

Actually, no. "Idiota" is a fully Spanish word that means "idiot." It's just a cognate.
I'd know because my grandparents on my mother's side came here LEGALLY from Montevideo, Uruguay, South America in 1950 and made honest livings as a construction worker and a jewelry retailer in this country. So there.
