most likely the hunters are raised in pairs. if you notice that when the first one dies at 2:20 the other enters rage mode.

if its supposed to be a mix together mutant of flood bodies they should have added in multiple body parts like you see multiple faces, fingers, etc. and yea definitely should have kept it in too.
