yeah somethin like that, very similiar to the 7.62x39mm. i think the german round was called the kurz and used in the world's first(debateably)assualt rifle, the MP44

they shoot like crap in reality, your lucky to get a 3 inch group at a 100 yards, and you can't shoot it farther than 300. other than range and accuracy, it's a great weapon, definitely in the top 3 assault rifles of all time. you can shoot a deer with one, try that with a regular M16. if you really want one you can probably find a good one(semi auto of course) at a gun show for 400 or 500,i picked up mine for 390, but that was 2 1/2 years ago. with obama's policies now?check your local laws 1st

The AK-47 is truly a beautiful weapon, lacking in human engineering but making up in reliability it is one of my personal favorites. Everyone should own one and use them to fight those insurgencies to bring just to the world.
