i used to be like her. 5'4", 85 pounds.
it's hell on earth. no matter how much i lost, i wanted to lose more. no, i NEEDED to lose more.
one day i looked in the mirror and the reflection i saw wasn't mine. i saw a skeleton, a shadow of my former self.
i am now 103 pounds, which is still underweight, but it's better than before.

And also eating mcDonald's would be way too heavy for her to digest. You start small when you're in recovery and move up. *I don't have anorexia, but I've seen treatment.

I hope she gets better, despite her anorexia, she seems to want to get better, and I admire her for doing that campaign :-)

whats sad is that once you get the point shes at, its so much harder to recover to a healthy weight because even though you might WANT to eat, your body rejects it since its not used to a normal diet.

My goodness what a terrible fate :( . And my question would be where is the support of her parents throughout this whole ordeal?
I am a firm believer in the philosophy of prevention as opposed to cure. Why get yourself into such a horrible predicament in the first place when you know the eventual destination of that path is irreversible damage or death? That is beyond my understanding.
