halifuckinfan is a sixteen year old poseur with good charlotte in his favorites.I think that says all we need to know about the little twerps idea of what punk is.He needs to stick with the fake skater punk/emo videos and leave people that know what punk actually is alone.

vines & racontuers are deplorably bad. i'll give ya the strokes.... but even then i could do without them. mission of burma would never & have never played the game like the 3 bands you mentioned. hence the whole 'integrity' thing i mentioned

music is different now man you can look at it as a terible era for music but the 80's were the same way.....on a superficial level the 80's sucked...but minor threat, the dead kennadies and black flag all came from the 80's....the 2000s have good stuff you just have to look beyond what pop radio is playing to find it

I never clamed charlotte to be punk the first record was the closest they ever made it then they went pop all the time......no charlotte is not punk

Uh how old are you?Punk came out in New York,the pistols even admit they copied Iggy,The Ramones,and The Dolls.And grunge was shit pretty much not punk.

punk here in the states wasent the movement it was in the uk....im only 16 so its not somthing i lived through but punk devided the uk it was a phase here...grunge killed the 80's efectively and was more of a social movement....good boston band here though
