We do have the resources to go over there, it's called counter-ops, intelligence, and if citizens with cameras can film, we can certainly get trained professionals to document, expose, and give a voice to the people. All it takes to stop the military is to cut off their funding and their supplies. We know what we have to do, we're just not doing it.

The UN's role following World War II was to prevent any infringement on human rights in ANY nation in the world (Genocide, see: Nazi Germany). It has failed to do so as these conflicts continue globally.
